Biography
Abimbola Oladokun, better known by his stage name Bayanni, was born on June 25, 1997. He’s a musician who used to perform under the moniker Zhenoboy. BMW, African Beauty, Duro, and Ballerina were among the tunes he dropped as an underground musician. In August of 2022, Bayanni was introduced to the world as the newest member of the Mavin Records family. On August 23, 202, he dropped his debut album, which was simply titled “His Name.”
Early Life
On June 25, 1997, Bayanni Oladokun was born into the prominent Oladokun family. Abimbola Oladokun is a name he was given by his parents.
He grew up in Lagos State, where he was born. He spent his childhood on the Mainland section of Lagos City, where his parents currently live. He is of the Yoruba ethnic group and originally from the Southwest.

Education
Bayanni attended public elementary and secondary schools in Lagos, as he was born and raised there.

Later, Bayanni was accepted to study at Nigeria’s top university, Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife. After four years of study, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

In order to further his interest in music, Bayanni specialized in the Afropop genre after being accepted to college. He was in the studio working on original compositions and covers when he wasn’t lecturing.He devoted his spare time to perfecting his tone and composing ability.
To the public, he was known at the time as Zhenoboy. He started taking up offers to play at local Lagos and Osun State events and festivals so he could hone his skills as a musician. He also participated in campus-wide musical performances.
A desire for fame and fortune drove Bayanni to promote himself on social media. He began sharing his renditions of a few select songs on social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter in 2021.The plan worked, and the videos quickly went viral on the internet, making him a social media star.
On April 2, 2021, Bayanni covered Felony by Ckay and shared it on social media. On Instagram alone, the Felony cover has almost 350,000 likes.
On October 14, 2021, he released a cover of “Jowo” by Davido. Instagram says the video has over 600,000 views. On October 19, 2021, he published a cover he had made of Peru, a single by Fireboy DML.
The 13th of April 2022 saw the release of Bayanni’s debut song, “BMW. He collaborated with a group of up-and-coming artists to produce the catchy tune. Killashay Beatz produced the record, and SignalthePlug did the mixing. Pharouk Damilola Films oversaw the production of the music video. Under the moniker “Zhenoboy,” he has recorded music in addition to BMW. African Beauty, Duro, and Ballerina are the songs that may be purchased as singles.
Bayanni’s singing skills were noticed by music executive Don Jazzy after his cover songs became Internet sensations. The famous producer asked Bayanni to join Mavin Records, and he quickly signed up for Mavin Academy, the label’s training program.
