Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, the young Afrobeat global sensation, has caused a stir online with a recent comment expressing gratitude to Burna Boy.
On his X (previously Twitter) page, Rema thanked Burna Boy for being the first person to provide him with the opportunity to perform at the O2 Arena. This statement was made just moments before Rema’s first performance at the O2 Arena.
The Calm Down crooner went on to express that Burna Boy has consistently been a significant inspiration to him.
Rema said;
“Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage two years ago. Today, it’s my turn to conquer that same stage, and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation. With love, Rema.”
