“If I was a man, I won’t marry a liability” – Shaffy Bello addresses ‘what do you bring to the table’ controversy

Shaffy Bello, a well-known singer and actress from Nigeria, comments on the debates surrounding the subject of what a partner contributes.

In a recent “Me, Her, and Everything Else” podcast episode, the seasoned actor made the case that men have a right to inquire about a woman’s qualifications.

Shaffy Bello said emphatically that she does not see herself marrying a woman who is a liability while putting herself in a man’s position.

She went on to say that, in contrast to being continuously needy and entitled, being a responsible and hardworking woman is actually an attractive quality.

If he’s bringing something to the table, you should bring something to the table. I don’t want to marry a liability if I was a man. As a matter of fact, you look more attractive that way. You can’t just be needy, that’s not attractive,” she added.
