Amapiano sonic titans Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, aka The Scorpion Kings, have released their long-awaited collaborative effort, “The Konka Mixtape (Sweet & Dust).”
The pair made the revelation on social media, causing a flurry of anticipation among their followers.
The duo’s tremendous brilliance and inventiveness are on full display in their latest release, “The Konka Mixtape (Sweet & Dust),” which dropped on Friday, May 19. Already making waves in the Amapiano community, this new endeavor is sure to further cement the Scorpion Kings’ reign at the top of their field.
DJ Maphorisa’s girlfriend, Thuli P., has accused him of violence, thus the publication of the mixtape is a bright spot in an otherwise difficult year for the couple.
The two groups’ legal teams issued a combined statement dismissing the assault allegations as “partially false,” shifting the attention back to the musicians themselves.
