Renowned stand-up comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, playfully declared his colleague, Basketmouth, as a “wicked” individual behind the potential downfall of up-and-coming comedians in a video that has been circulating on social media.
In the video, Bovi and Basketmouth could be seen together in a room, engaging in jokes and laughter. Bovi, in jest, suggested that Basketmouth is exceptionally wicked and might have a hand in bringing down other comedians’ careers.
Bovi humorously remarked, “The most wicked comedian who suppresses the careers of other comedians; you’re wicked. Man of peace with a spice of wickedness.”
In response, Basketmouth humorously defended himself, saying, “No, no, I’m a nice man. Don’t believe anything he says; I’m a man of God.”
It’s worth noting that a rising comedian, Destalker, had previously accused Basketmouth of working against his success and sabotaging his shows. AY Makun had also shared a similar experience involving the same individual, leading to a longstanding feud between them. Bovi’s playful comment appears to be in the spirit of camaraderie and jest among comedians.
