He acknowledged their role in propelling his latest album, ‘I Told Them,’ to the top spot on the UK album chart, making him the first Nigerian artist to achieve this milestone.
Despite initially considering the accomplishment an impossibility, Burna Boy credited his success to the unwavering celebration and support of his UK fanbase.
He referred to them as the pinnacle of his achievements and conveyed deep appreciation for making the seemingly unattainable feat a reality for a Nigerian artist.
Some Nigerians however didn’t find his view thrilling and heavily lambasted him for snubbing them.
