Davido, who made history as the first Nigerian artist to perform at the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar, expressed his disappointment with those who ridiculed Ronaldo after Portugal’s elimination from the tournament. He defended his friend, emphasizing their bond. In his 2017 hit song ‘Fall,’ Davido paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Notably, Ronaldo is the only African artist that Davido follows on Instagram.
