A Tribe Called Judah, the latest film from Nollywood actress and box office queen Funke Akindele, is a tribute to her late mother.

The actress held the highly anticipated film’s premiere on Sunday, December 10, drawing a large number of celebrities.

The elite of the entertainment industry came together for the film A Tribe Called Judah’s premiere.

Funke staged an extravagant premiere party for her latest production, never one to be surpassed.

Celebrities from a range of entertainment industries attended the event to honor the filmmaker.

A number of celebrities attended the event, including Ini Edo, Phyna, Shaffy Bello, Adunni Ade, Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Faithia Williams, Ruth Kadiri, Juliana Olayode, Ali Baba, and Hilda Dokubo.

Speaking at the movie’s premiere, she disclosed that she wrote the script without realizing her mother would pass away.

Funke Akindele wrote the screenplay prior to her mother’s passing in February, and she characterized the movie’s plot as passionate.

She gave it her mother’s blessing and encouraged everyone to watch the film and recommend it to others, stressing the need for practitioners to come together and collaborate as a team.
