Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has taken to her social media platform to reveal her perspective on the reason behind the conflict between the late Mohbad and Sam Larry.
Sam Larry, Naira Marley’s best friend, has been captured in numerous videos physically assaulting the late artist Mohbad.
While many fans and individuals believed that the altercation stemmed from Mohbad’s departure from the record label, Kemi Olunloyo offers a different explanation for their fight. According to a tweet on her page, Kemi Olunloyo disclosed that Mohbad was fighting Sam Larry because he had discovered that Sam Larry fathered a child with Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi.
She stated, “FIGHT GOES BEYOND MUSIC LABEL SEPARATION???????????????? Mohbad was reportedly fighting Sam Larry for custody of this child after the DNA ???? test confirmed him as the father.”
Kemi Olunloyo went on to explain that Mohbad had a deep emotional connection with Wunmi, to the point where he believed the child was his. However, it was revealed through a DNA test that Sam Larry was the biological father.
She further commented on the situation by saying, “Mohbad loved Wunmi to the point of the mentality of ‘This baby is mine’ but Wunmi was not faithful in the Marlian Harem. You cannot marry one and sleep with 3.”
Kemi Olunloyo emphasized the importance of honesty in such situations and raised concerns about paternity fraud cases in Nigeria in recent years.
