Dua Lipa (born August 22, 1995) is a stunning English singer, songwriter, and model.
Her musical career began at age 14 when she began uploading YouTube covers of songs by other artists.
She signed with Warner Music Group in 2015 and released her debut single shortly thereafter. In December 2016, “See in Blue,” a documentary on Lipa, was commissioned by The Fader magazine.
She got the EBBA Public Choice Award in January 2017. Her debut studio album under her own name was published on June 2, 2017.
The album produced seven songs, including two UK top-10 hits, “Be the One” and “Idgaf,” and the UK number-one single “New Rules,” which peaked at number six in the United States.

Dua Lipa was born in London, England on August 22, 1995, to Albanian rock singer and marketing professional Dukagjin Lipa and his wife Anesa Lipa.
Rina Lipa and Gjin Lipa are her sisters and brothers, respectively. Her parents, ethnic Albanians from Pristina, Kosovo’s capital, fled to Europe in the 1990s to escape violence and oppression.
She was affected by her father’s singing, although she was not forced to become a singer. After a poor experience in high school, she enrolled in the acclaimed Sylvia Young Theatre School on a part-time basis, where her instructor placed her among older students to boost her confidence.

Career
While working as a cocktail bar server in 2013, Dua Lipa signed a deal with Tap Management, run by Ben Mawson and Ed Millett.
She was introduced to Mawson by her attorney, who prevented her from accepting an additional publishing contract. They subsequently gave her a monthly compensation to quit her job and concentrate on music recording.
Dua Lipa co-wrote the song “Hotter than Hell” during one of the sessions, which ultimately led to her signing a record deal with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. Since then, she has been in the spotlight, releasing song after song and receiving prizes for her work.
