Pick best hands as Ministers, aides – Mumuni tasks Tinubu

Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to carefully select the most qualified individuals as ministers, advisers, and heads of various government agencies. Mumuni, who served on the Security and Intelligence Committee of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, emphasized the importance of assembling a competent team to propel the new administration forward.

Following Tinubu’s inauguration as the 6th democratically elected President of Nigeria on Monday, Mumuni urged him to appoint individuals with the necessary expertise and a genuine commitment to national progress. The former gubernatorial candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in Lagos State also emphasized the need to appoint capable individuals who can effectively contribute to the President’s objectives in various sectors.

Mumuni’s statement, released on Tuesday through his media aide, Rasheed Abubakar, emphasized the importance of selecting the best individuals who are dedicated to the country’s welfare. He further highlighted the need for President Tinubu to unite aggrieved members of the APC and foster party cohesion. Mumuni also reminded Tinubu that the APC is an amalgamation of progressive political parties, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and giving capable individuals the opportunity to serve based on their experience and expertise.

In conclusion, Mumuni emphasized Tinubu’s commitment to running an inclusive government, urging him to prioritize the nation’s healing and progress, irrespective of religious, tribal, or partisan differences.
