    Veteran musician Blackface has expressed his reservations about the idea of his daughter marrying someone like Rema, citing concerns about the singer’s lack of morals. Blackface made this statement during a recent interview on the Honest Bunch podcast.

    He mentioned a specific lyric from Rema’s song, ‘Charm,’ in which the singer said, “I get money pass your papa.” Blackface concluded that he couldn’t fathom his daughter bringing a man who would make such a statement into their home.

    According to Blackface, he believes that Rema’s lack of morals is evident in his lyrics, and what he says in his songs is a reflection of what is in his heart.

    Nigerian singer Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, known as Blackface, has once again engaged in a public dispute with his fellow musician, 2face Idibia, also known as 2Baba.

    This time, Blackface questioned whether 2Baba had ever attempted to use spiritual or fetish means against him or had any intentions to harm his life.

    Blackface’s inquiry arose in response to an alleged remark made by 2Baba in an interview.

    During an interview on the Honest Bunch podcast hosted by OAP Nedu Wazobia, Blackface mentioned that he had listened to an interview where 2Baba was asked about the reasons behind his split from his former bandmate in Plantashun Boiz.

    In a recent interview with the Honest Bunch podcast hosted by OAP Nedu Wazobia, Blackface claimed to have listened to the interview 2Baba had with media personality Olisa Adibua, where he was questioned about why he broke up with his former bandmate from Plantashun Boiz.

    He claimed that in response, 2Face said he disliked talking about Blackface since it took him “somewhere.”

    ‘’I was like 2Face where talking about me dey carry you go? You when I carry from Benue state wey your mama dey tell me say ‘thank you since you have been friends with my son, my son is now thinking like a normal human being. Now you cannot talk about me? Why can’t you talk about me? Because e get where e dey carry you go. You go do juju for me? You go do fetish thing for me? You plan make my life for finish?”

    Veteran singer-songwriter Blackface has accused popular Afrobeats artists Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake of copying his music and engaging in intellectual property theft.

    In an interview with Naija FM, Blackface claimed that Wizkid and Burna Boy’s song “Ginger” samples his track “Twist & Turn,” including the rhythms, beat, and melody. He also accused Asake of sampling his song “Ikebe Supa” in “Joha.” Blackface stated that while he is not against artists sampling his music, he takes issue with them doing so without seeking his permission.

    He also accused Asake of sampling his song “Ikebe Supa” in the track “Joha.”

    The popular Nigerian singer who is widely known for his beef with the African Queen crooner, 2face Idibia has taken to social media to announce the passing of his beloved father Ahmedu Ocholi.

    It will be recalled that blackface used to be a member of the defunct Plantashun Boyz group.

    The singer took to social media on Thursday to disclose the death of his papa, up until his death, his dad was an Elder Statesman of the Agatu community in Benue State, Nigeria.

    Blackface showers his late father with heartwarming emotional words as he took to social media to share the old picture of the gallant man.

    “TODAY 8TH OCTOBER 2020 THE GREAT MR AHMEDU OCHOLI PASSED AWAY “YOU PLAYED YOUR PART WELL PAPA “YOU ARE THE FIRST ELDER STATESMAN THAT OUR PEOPLE OF AGATU CALL ON TO SETTLE ANY FORM OF DISPUTE!!! “YOU SERVED YOUR COUNTRY WELL AND YOU ARE THE BEST DAD EVER “ADIOUS PAPA !!!”
