Rising female rapper Candy Bleakz opens out about how painful it was to lose the title of “YBNL Princess” to Temmie Ovwasa in 2015 as a result of Olamide’s choice.
These disclosures were made during her guest appearance on the most recent episode of Kim Oprah’s reality TV program, “Trending.”
She said that Temmie Ovwasa was introduced by Olamide, the label’s boss, in place of her original plan to become YBNL Princess.
She said, “I was really sad the day Baddo (Olamide) unveiled Temmie Ovwasa, even though she is my friend.” I was to be the Princess of YBNL. “Why did they sign someone else?” I thought to myself.
It’s important to remember that Temmie and Olamide had a falling out a few years later over claims of mistreatment.

Mohbad Olamide Bella Shmurda’s wife Wunmi recalled how the singer struggled to survive after leaving his record label Marlian Music due to artists avoiding him.
Wunmi made the statement in court on Tuesday during the coroner’s inquest in Lagos.
She said that Mohbad’s “oppressor” used various methods to threaten him, and that he even tried to contact some artistes, but they did not respond.
