Rumors started swirling that the Nigerian singer-songwriter, Peruzzi, had been involved in writing songs for the Afrobeat sensation, Burna Boy.
During an interview with one of his supporters, who had initially claimed authorship of Burna Boy’s popular track, Peruzzi faced criticism for allegedly collaborating with other songwriters.
While fans praised his lyrical prowess, the supporter voiced concerns and even threatened to prevent Peruzzi from writing songs for Burna Boy, accusing him of routinely appropriating songs from other musicians.
Peruzzi swiftly responded to refute these allegations, maintaining that he had not been involved in the composition of any of Burna Boy’s hit songs.
Peruzzi wrote:
