Early Years
It is known that Teni was born on December 12, 1992, although there has not been a great deal of information about her childhood.
She was born in the Lagos State region of southwest Nigeria. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Apata.
Her father, Simeon Apata, was reportedly assassinated in cold blood in early January 1995 by unidentified gunmen.
Her sister’s name is Niniola, and she is also a singer and songwriter.
Education
Her late father ran the Apata Memorial High School, where Teni went for many years to finish her elementary and high school education.
After getting her first school leaving certificate and West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate, she went to American Intercontinental University in the United States to get a degree in Business Administration.

Career
Teni began her musical career and was signed to Magic Finger Records, owned by Shizzi, a prominent producer, in 2016.
In 2017, she was signed to Dr. Dolor Entertainment recordings, where she collaborated with several artists and became a play-up.
Teni began her musical career by freestyling on Instagram. Her hit song “Fargin” brought her to the forefront of the music world, as fans of all kinds of music loved it.
Teni has composed a song for the founder of DMW and has released a variety of cool, awesome, and many songs, including Billionaire, Wait, Askamaya in 2018, Superwoman, Sugar Mummy in 2019, and a vast number of others.
Personal Affairs
Recently, Teni disclosed her relationship status in an interview. confirming that she has only music as a lover. She alluded to her hope and desire to have her own family in the near future.
She went on to clarify that, for the time being, she prioritizes her career, which is her major objective, before anything else, including romance.
