Beautiful is a song by the popular American singer, Anne-Marie.

Nineteen years after Christina Aguilera’s declaration that “we are beautiful in every single way,” Anne-Marie sends forth a message of self-acceptance that is quite similar to Christina’s. While Aguilera sang about how words could not bring her down, Anne-Marie muses in the lines of this song on the concerns she has regarding her body. During the chorus, she encourages herself to disregard her flaws and to stop making comparisons between herself and other people.

Elvira Anderfjard, a Swedish producer and composer, collaborated with Ed Sheeran and Max Martin to write the feel-good song that was released.

Elvira is best known for her remixes of Taylor Swift’s singles “Love Story” and “Willow,” on which she also played the drums and bass. The track in question was produced by Elvira. Additionally, she was a co-writer on “What Makes A Woman” by Katy Perry.

Backing vocals for the track were provided by members of Anne-family. Marie’s At the very conclusion of the song, the singer’s godson, Sebastian Hack, and his younger sister, Siena, each perform a touching solo that brings a smile to the listener’s face.

The music video for the song was directed by Hassan Akkad, a Syrian refugee who is also a photographer and filmmaker. The video tells the story of Dima Amin AKtaa’s recovery after she lost the lower half of her left leg as a result of a bomb attack in Syria.
